The practice is accredited (a process carried out every 3 years) and thus meets the standards expected of high quality general practice.
To be accredited, a general practice must provide the highest possible standards of patient care. The accreditation process involves a review of all systems, particularly:
- medical records
- drug and equipment storage
- sterilisation and infection control
- vaccine management
- emergency management
- staff education and training
DCMC was most recently accredited in 2016.
