COVID 19 Vaccine booking Information
If you’re an adult, and it’s been 6 months since your last COVID-19 dose or infection, you may be eligible for a booster. Maximise your protection from the virus and give an added boost to your immune system.
We are now stocking Moderna Spikevax XBB.1.5 and you may book directly with your doctor.
ATAGI have also provided the following recommendations with regards to this new vaccine:
- All adults aged 75 years and over should receive an additional 2023 Covid vaccine dose if 6 months have passed since their last dose.
- All adults aged 65 to 74 years should consider an additional 2023 Covid 19 vaccine dose if 6 months have passed since last dose, after discussion with their GP.
- All adults aged 18 to 64 years who are Severely Immunocompromised should consider an additional 2023 Covid 19 vaccine dose if 6 months have passed since their last dose, after discussion with their GP.
- For younger people or older adults (18-64)without severe immunocompromise who have already had a dose in 2023, no further doses are currently recommended.
